DAY Whatever - The Final Sessions! There were just a few details, musical and otherwise to iron out before we mixed and mastered. Luckily we had our producer (pictured below) take care of them for us. The horns were back in for a few tweaks. PJ and Jont were once again ready to go. Hauskind and Smitty were all business. The Polkaboy brain trust was on hand to handle any emergency. We also needed to sing a few miscellaneous backing vocals. Here Kubs sings a couple of his parts. Pete did his Jane. Zivijo did his Monkey. And finally everyone got together to sing rousing choruses and make stupid sound effects. Here we are about to rouse... Day Whatever + a couple weeks: DONE! We had finished all of the recording, and what came next could not be documented by a mere digital camera. We spent many gruelling days of mixing the songs with our engineers Andy and Corey.
Since we did not take any pictures of the mixing sessions, let me present a recap of our project:
The following chart shows our intentions for this CD: And here is a look at the financials for the CD: And finally, a few random stats: TO PRESS!!!!! PJ and Kruesch worked very hard and got all of the artwork ready and Scott worked hard securing of the mechanical licenses and we are TOTALLY DONE!
Here's the back with the song list: We would like to thank those pictured below for making this all possible!
